I loathe movie trailers for, oh, so many reasons. Myriad movie trailers tell you everything, so you don’t have to bother seeing the flick, or the movie previews say nothing, so you don’t even want to see the movie.

Worst yet,  fantastic movies (e.g., Idiocracy and Mystery Men) had hideous movie trailers, which killed any chance of the films doing well.

So, this “re-imagined” warm-fuzzy movie trailer spoof for The Shining (a psychological horror classic) just made me laugh. And it shows the power of editing in all its mischievous glory. Enjoy!
